Genesys Settings

In order to provide the integration between Genesys and Knovvu Biometrics, the necessary settings described below must be completed on Genesys Cloud desktop.

Prerequisite

In order to perform the steps described, the customer must first add Genesys' AudioHook service to his/her Genesys environment. This process is done from Genesys Admin page, under Integrations. If further support is needed the user must contact Genesys.

Trunk Settings

  1. Go to Admin page in your Genesys Cloud account.

  1. Click on Trunks under the category Telephony.

  1. Enter the customer's external trunk to edit settings.

  1. Scroll down and enter Media to make necessary trunk settings.

  1. The settings below should be done.
  • Preferred Codec List should be as follows:

Genesys Audiohook Settings

  1. Go to Admin page in your Genesys Cloud account.
  2. Click on Integrations under the category Integrations.

  1. Enter AudioHook.

  1. In the Configuration tab, enter Properties.

    • Channel must be both
    • Connection URI must be entered, e.g. for AWS Paris: wss://adapter.vb.eu.knovvu.com/biometrics/adapter/v1/wsg

  2. Enter Credentials and click on Change.

    • API Key and Client Secret values are generated by Knovvu Biometrics in Integration Settings page, and should be entered here.

You may contact Sestek Application Support team, who did the required installation and configurations to get this information.

After the required settings are entered on Knovvu Biometrics-Itegration Settings page and saved, API Key and Client Secret values will be automatically generated when the page is refreshed.

  1. Click on Save
